Saturday: Cleaning, laundry (as you can tell by my bare mattress) , lunch with mom, shopping, and grooming. Watching some Weeds then meeting my new favorite lawyer Sylvia a little later.

So i’m constantly trying to think of ways to keep my outfits fun and interesting, and as I was coming up for my outfit for nana’s 80th birthday party I thought, well why not a boutonniere? So I call up my local florist and order one over the phone. When I go to pick it up I find my self standing in line with high schoolers picking up flowers for prom dates. Then I thought, since when did boutonniere have to be restricted to school dances and weddings? I’m going to try and wear them when I go out or dress up. Let’s see how long I can keep it up. Do people actually do this and I just don’t know about it? If so, please let me know. And doesn’t Stephanie look so cute in her vintage sailor dress?

Casual Friday. I spent the day running errands, got my oil changed in the morning, picked up a new bow tie and pair of driving moccasins in the afternoon, then Ivette helped me with the mock up of the layout for my photo essay (so good!) Somewhere in between all of that we went out to the lawn and hung out with Buddy. Apparently Buddy found something I said to be really funny. Sample sale tomorrow…looong day ahead, come say hi!
